Breathing explorations, or pranayama, gently go into easy movements and joint openings; ending with 20 minutes of guided relaxation.
The 80 minute CD has extra music at the end, so that relaxation can continue for an extended period. Your readiness to participate physically is something that you and your doctor will decide. Anyone can listen to Yoga for Cancer Survivors audio class and mentally do the exercises as a way to provide the mind with readiness to move, when the time is right.
Many cancer patients use the YCS CD to listen and relax during cancer treatment; use it to listen to when you are anxious. I know how hard it is to get back in touch with your body after cancer. I made this with you in mind. Yoga can help relieve many side effects of cancer treatment and its after effects.
